Description
Top bar for use in assembling or repairing Layens frames. Bar measurements: Total length: 14-5/16″, width: 1-1/2″, 3/4″ thick. 1-1/16″ x 3/8″ is cut from the bottom of each bar end. Bars are drilled with 1/16″ holes for wiring (wire not included).
Flat top bars have a groove cut in the bottom as a straight guide for mounting foundation or a starter strip of wax, plastic or wood.
Tapered top bars are “V” shaped, providing a guide for straight comb building without foundation or a starter strip.
