Month: October 2026

I’m moving!

Since this business started, it’s been run entirely out of my house. Construction of frames, swarm traps and hives (starting this year) has been done solely by me in my garage. My office and shipping of small items has been from my basement. On a small scale this has worked, but the limitations of the space and working solo have become a bottleneck.

For several months I’ve been searching for a suitable location to relocate the business where I can hire help for manufacturing and have a location for customers to make pickups (without broadcasting my home address everywhere). It’s been difficult to find a fitting site that didn’t break the bank, but I finally found and rented a location in High Ridge, Missouri that will provide what I need right now.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be working on moving all of my equipment, supplies and merchandise to the new site. I’ll also be adding new equipment to improve the quality and consistency of my products. In this location I’ll be able to increase capacity to build up stock and reduce or eliminate backorders. During this transition, orders placed in the shop may be delayed. If a delay will be significant I’ll add a note to the order to inform the customer.

I’m excited for this change and I think it will help to improve product quality and service to my customers. I appreciate your patience during this move and I hope, maybe, to see you visit the new shop some day.
